No. I don't think that highly of Hrgovic, but he's still a big guy who's a tough out, and Usyk would need time to recover. That just gives Fury more time to screw about, and gives him a chance at Usyk losing so he doesn't need to fight him at all.

Usyk may end up fighting Hrgovic anyways, but at least then it will be for a big payday if/when Fury pulls out again. Would be ****** at this point, especially since there's a decent chance he'll get either an extra penalty or a partially healed Fury that he could TKO by opening up that cut again.

Yes, it could delay a Fury fight so hopefully it doesn't happen, but I don't think you could blame Usyk for taking a mandatory when Fury delayed the fight by taking a fight that wasn't even a title defence.

Despite the fact I don't feel Hrgovic deserves to be next in line for a shot at the unified title, he is there.

He'd be a fool to take a risky fight look at Joyce vs Zhang Joyce could be sitting on a guarenteed Saudi payday for the unified title but instead he fought Zhang to stay busy.

That was probably a 15 million dollar mistake by Joyce, Hrgovic shouldn't do the same.

Again, Hrgovic has NEVER taken a fight with any perceived risk. EVER.
