Sulaiman's "moral" position is ridiculous. Nobody cares whether his belt is at stake. He's just making his organization irrelevant. It's for undisputed whether his belt is on the line or not.

      Bivol isn't even Russian.

He was born in Kyrgyzstan. His father was born in Moldova. His mother was born in Korea. He moved to Russia at age 11, but now lives in California.

Beterbiev is more Russian than Bivol. Beterbiev was born and raised in Russia, now lives in Canada.

Sulaiman is just a corrupt bastard who probably is already making a special belt for this fight
Money overpowers anything the WBC stands for
        Ita really that simple
Yeah no way in hell they’ll pass up on a big sanctioning fee.

“We didn’t really mean it, Bivol is a good man who has nothing to do with the military and travels frequently outside of Russia to fight. We will sanction this bout for our customary percentage. And will even create a special Camel Belt for the occasion.”

That is what you call the height of hypocrisy.

The Saudi’s can rid us of these corrupt sanctioning bodies in a minute by having their own championship belt. I just don’t think Turkie is smart enough to figure that out, because at the end of the day, who the F cares about the four corrupt sanctioning bodies.

Turkie, besides the massive money you’re paying boxers, your belt, inlaid with gold, diamonds, and other precious metals and NO sanction fees, would put Sulaiman and the other 3 corrupt sanctioning bodies out of business overnight! That belt alone would be more valuable than the plastic garbage fighters have to pay the corrupt sanctioning Mafia family of four.

Imagine fans getting the fights that we want before their expiration dates ( think Mayweather v Pacquiao which was 5 years too late) and doing away with mandatory defenses that nobody gives a sheet about. That besides neutral and impartial oversight and a Ali Act with real teeth that protects fighters from corrupt Promoters and Managers is what the sport desperately needs.

While you’re at it, do the same with the dude who slaps his wife in public, and Saudi Arabia would be the Kingdom of Boxing and the vastly underpaid MMA fighters. What are you waiting for?
                Great idea man !

I'd love it if immediately after the fight the winner would throw all four belts in the trash on camera.

                      Fair point
Although he’s been in Canada over12 years
His kids are all born in Canada
But yes I would say he’s more Russian than Bivol
