    Holy ignorant bigotry, Batman. Does it make you feel better about being a fat slob to make up crap like this?

    The world average for men is 136 lbs. The average American male is 198 lbs. Well over half the world's population is under 126 lbs, since fat American slobs skew the average so much.

    It's more common to do well moving up the divisions at higher weight classes than at the lower weight classes. That's actually been studied before. Most of this thread is counterfactual.

    You may not be personally interested in the lower divisions, but skill levels go down as the weight goes up. Just say you don't like those divisions. Or better yet, just don't watch them and keep your bigotry to yourself.

      Yup, there's a massive market there as well which is why the lower weight classes are fine the way they are.

      If there's any weight class that needs reshuffling right now it's Heavyweight. The so called best Heavyweight Tyson Fury got his ass handed to him by an ex-UFC fighter.

        This jamook over here.

        Let us do some math:

        The thread is about 105-118.

        198>118

        136>118

        126>118

        You = too ****** to realize your supporting evidence supports OP's claim, not your own.

        -----

        There are 114 pages worth of rated mini-weight boxers on boxrec

        Heavy has 693 pages worth of rated professional boxers

        CW 196

        LHW 525

        Super Middle is at 207

        MW = 1,096

        SWW = 361

        WW = 1,583

        SLW = 461

        LW = 1,730

        SFW = 331

        FW/126 = 1,382

        SBW = 239

        BW = 896

        Super Fly = 131

        FW = 579

        LFW = 118

        Let me rate them by population for your silly ass:
        1. Lightweight = Above 126
        2. Welterweight = Above 126
        3. Featherweight = 126 or Below
        4. Middleweight = Above 126
        5. Bantamweight = 126 or Below
        6. Heavyweight = Above 126
        7. Flyweight = 126 or Below
        8. Light-Heavyweight = Above 126
        9. Super-Lightweight = Above 126
        10. Super-Welterweight = Above 126
        11. Super-Featherweight = Above 126
        12. Super-Bantamweight = 126 or Below
        13. Super-Middleweight = Above 126
        14. Cruiserweight = Above 126
        15. Super-Flyweight = 126 or Below
        16. Light-Flyweight = 126 or Below
        17. Minimumweight = 126 or Below

        How about addition?

        Above 126 = 6,987 rated fighters

        At or Below 126 = 3,345 rated fighters

        Subtraction?

        6987
        -3345
        --------
        3642
        -3345
        --------
        297

        More than twice as many fighters above 126 than at or below let alone 118. Yet 126 and below is more than half the weight divisions.

        Super uncommon for the lower weight classes to feature anyone doing well moving up in weight because it's comparatively uncommon for boxing to feature the lower weight classes period, anywhere on this planet.

            OP your acting like these weight classes have 30 boxers in them each.

            At a certain point the number of fighters in a division isn't going to make it better. It wasn't that long ago a Former Flyweight dominating the 147lb division for half a decade.

            It's hard to compare the lighter weight classes to the women's because not only can we see the women aren't that good by just watching their fighters but at weight classes like 168lbs there only legitimately 10 pros in the division.

              You're comparing Manny Pacquiao to other Flyweights?

              There's a reason he's the only person to ever do what he's done.

              Most fighters who fight under 118 don't even make it to 126, much less up to 135
