105-118 is the weakest divsions in boxing

Writers and boxing fans have some sick fetish for the little guys. The fact is 105-118 is the weakest division in boxing because the talent pool is very small. Even small males who are 5-3-5-5 and cut weight come down to about 126-130. 126-135 is competitive because that's where most short man end up at after cutting weight. 105-118 just dosen't have a lot of talent because it's not natural for grown men even midgets to weigh that much.

They should collapse some of the lower divisions, there are too many of them. Especially with four "recognised" belts per division, it's too much dilution.

Too many divisions of low weight with a difference of 2 kg. difference and then you jump to cruiser and heavy, supposedly all will adopt the bridger.

100%. There are too many lil guy divisions that are too close together % weight gain-wise. The fact 10 of the 17 weight divisions are between 105 & 140 (35lbs) is absolutely ridiculous.

Bridgerweight don't make no fooking sense unless they carve out a actual weight for it & change CW &/or HW to fit it.

Right now its like a "trans-weight". someone who weighs 215 can choose to identify as a bridgerweight or a heavyweight. Sh^ts ******.

Heavyweight and super middleweight are worse. Garbage. Hell throw welterweight in there too

                  It makes perfect sense:
                  • super middleweight - 168 pounds (76 kg.)
                  • light heavyweight - 175 pounds (79 kg.)
                  • cruiserweight - 200 pounds (91 kg.)
                  • heavyweight - above 91 kg.
Do you see the gap between LHW and cruiser? Then starting the heavyweight from 91 kg. is absurd! Either reform the classes and therefore the super middle, the LHW, the cruiser and the heavy, either leave the brider (91-101 kg.) and make the heavy starting from 101.

What I agree with is that the current status of the bridger is ****** - a division within the division. From what I know, back then, people didn't like the cruiserweight idea.

There is no other fighting sport with such inadequate weight divisions. Even if I go out of the fighting ones, they are better established in weightlifting and powerlifting, for example.

To the topic: I can't tell which division is "the weakest". They all have their highs and lows in time.

Sumo is where it's at. No weight divisions, 1 belt.
