Yeah, disregarding the 119-109 the other two were in line with what I saw (117-111 and 116-112).

I guess for a match when one side is on the full running (seeming timid) the whole match while the other was on the chasing (seeming aggressive) the whole fight and neither had any breathtaking major climatic point, it gives the timid side a more negative image perhaps?

Not much of an excuse, but I read that Tenshin's side was apparently expecting a total entertainment style exhibition without scores, but on the last minute it somehow got made into a scored exhibition or something like that.

They should have known to protect their investment. 44-0 in pro kickboxing, 99-5-3 in amateur kickboxing, 4-0 in pro MMA, full contact karate national champion. Nothing good can come from putting your super bantamweight phenom talent level novice in there with a 50-0 super welterweight.

Oh yeah, I'm not disagreeing. And he was barely 20 years old at the time too. They probably (naively too) really thought they will get a few rounds of half assed flashy movement shows with no damage-type festival show.

That being said I can see Mayweather demanding last minute changes and Tenshin side agreeing not thinking deeply.

Not trying to be a conspiracist but for the overreaction they took for his "injury", he certainly looked fine and painless for the handshake.

Oh well, I guess happy earlier than expected main event?

Canizales doing much better than expected, could be a damn fun fight. After consecutive lukewarm matches I could use some bloody knockdowns flying around.
