Just to note none of the three judges were Japanese or Asian for that matter.

The 119-109 was meh, but I'd say 116-112 is certainly about right.

To me it looked like Dalakian was getting the better of it throughout most of the fight. His opponent only landed the occasional punch but Dalakian would immediately get himself out of range or tie up before the Japanese fighter could land anything else.

Yeah, they wanted to see someone who stood his ground and traded punches.

Dalakian won the first 7 rounds for me.

Yeah, I heard there weren't any Japanese judges. I still think it was a bad decision though.

He was getting out of range (or running away depending on how) or clinching the hell out when close, but his counters weren't striking cleanly.
My quick count says at most maybe four rounds tops were arguable for Dalakian and even then some were close, maybe 1, 5, 9, and 12...?

I'm not saying CompuBox is the ultimate truth but I won't be surprised to see Dalakian having a very crummy clean hit/power punch rate.

Wow cant believe ppl are calling this a robbery, i also tought Dalakian was gonna win but he didnt do nothing, all the clear punches and agression came from the challenger, 119-109 was a terrible scorecard but definitely the right man won

Dalakian probably would've had better results that way too, and I also expected more of that prior to the match. The full time running by the belt holder with the challenger constantly chasing the whole match probably gave an immpression that made Dalakian seem possibly timid or something like that too.

In a way it felt like watching a lesser version of the Shakur match, in that Dalakian wasn't as good as Shakur in running and countering, and DLS (Akui) being significantly more willing to chase him around.

Can't believe Nasukawa's handlers were dumb enough to let him get into that Mayweather exhibition. Excellent fighter in karate, kickboxing, and MMA, talented boxer. But for some ****** reason they put him in the ring with the much, much bigger Mayweather in his first organized boxing match.
