    Lightweight titlist Shakur Stevenson appears to be looking forward to testing himself on the open market. The skilled, three-division titleholder from Newark, New Jersey, indicated on his X (formerly Twitter) account this past weekend that he will become a free agent later this year. Stevenson typically fights twice in a calendar year.

            shakur is very good but he seems to fight very safe v punchers so this turki guy im sure knows this & might not be too keen on tank v shakur in the kingdom, but i read that shakur is aligned with islam sooooo maybe there is hope afterall, shakur doesnt make religious references like haney tho so i didnt even know this

              Davis ain’t fighting in Saudi Arabia. They wouldn’t be able to control the event and he won’t fight anyone if his “team” don’t control everything.

                    Shakur isn't a big draw even if he is quite skilled, how will he get any big fights without any promotional backing?

                    What's gonna stop fighters from sitting on the sidelines until other bigger opportunities appear?
