You're on the internet, where its most active participants seem to have a propensity for conspiracy thinking. It's quite interesting to observe, and I've been doing so for two decades.
This is what has allowed a cottage industry of charlatans to make money pandering to people who like to explain everything as the result of conspiracy. Alex Jones is a multimillionaire I believe.Comment

Don't take your steer from this. "Online fans" are self-selecting in that they tend to be the most irrational, emotional and mentally unwell people one can encounter.
I am of the firm belief that most people who watch boxing regularly are not abusing boxers on Twitter, trolling YouTube comment sections and racking up 5-figure post counts on forums.Comment

Jai said Fury had all southpaw fighters in camp, and that wasn't useful for his own fight, so he left after a few days. Fury is also way taller than Jai's opponent, so beyond just being a decent experience and doing Fury a favor by going a few rounds, sparring Fury is not really useful for this particular fight of Jai's. It all seems reasonable enough to me, there doesn't have to be a conspiracy.
I know that Fury is quite tall. And that he's fighting a southpaw next. I don't need to go to Saudi to figure that out.

After Opetaia sparred a bit against Fury, he decided it wasn't useful for him personally (likely due to size, but maybe also the style), and Fury didn't have any other orthodox fighters there, so Opetaia left. Could Opetaia have figured that out without going to the camp? Maybe. I'm sure Fury's camp paid for his flight & hotel, etc., so perhaps he thought it was worth a shot and perhaps he was also curious what sparring a top HW was like.
