If the WBC stripped Mosley when Floyd does not have any intention of fighting him would make the WBC look awfully rigged.

He does intend on fighting him...but he is going to make him suffer for ducking him twice before...

4 of his last 6 fights have ended with him stopping his opponent.

You're gonna have to rephrase your statement or just erase it entirely.

If Mayweather wants to make his mark,

he needs to beat the best welterweight out there right now. As it stands,

        that man,

        is Shane Mosley.

Tom, Do you think that Floyd is Canastota-bound?

Not for the future accomplishments.... but for what's in the books already.

i am at a lost why floydfans are so hardheaded they can't accept that their hero ducked the legit ww out there.
no amount of calling floyd out can make him go out of his shell....unless they are midgets of course.

                  Of course,

but this isn't about lightweight or jr lightweight.

Its solely, at this point, about his time beyond that and how it affects his status all time.

Nobody in their right mind denies 130 and 135. Rightfully deserved.

But thats just one portion of his career. He gets his money, fine we get that, its a business, blah blah blah, but at the same time, it has no bearing on a historical standing in regards to in ring achievements due to failing to take on the best opposition in his weight class as of right now.

Hes spent roughly 2/3 of his career at 135 and below. Are you saying, the 3rd portion of his career, which is going on 5 years now, while he is in his prime,

shouldn't count as anything for his standing in history?
