I can't believe this is another 10+ page thread on this again!
The simple fact is Floyd will fight anyone that is financially feasible to him. It's really that simple.

Saying things like "Floyd is ducking SSM, Floyd's a chicken, He is a Turkey" or any other bird, will not do anything to change Floyd's financial goals. It will always be driven by the prize. I'm not a fan of Floyd, but I respect his ability.

Just think of this, Floyd could possibly fight anyone of these three: Pac, Cotto, Mosely. Three potentially big pay days for him. It's definitely not about legacy, nor credibility, he lost that when he fought JMM. BUT he will fight any one of them...if the price is right! Whether you are a fan or not, Floyd will get paid.

well on every count its wrong because if it was about money hed face mosley,there is no way that is a small fight,fighting mosley is a garunteed giant payday now!!! waiting for pac isnt garunteed and he certainly isnt getting what he wants so its a no-brainer mosley is the biggest match out there realistically for fraud not pac,because ssm mosley fight would exceed 1m ppvs and its the best matchup as well, so the money excuse is no excuse. the pac fight is totally up in the air the ssm fight is a lock so for a guy that 'ONLY ' fights for money its not showing.

Floyd made more money to fight Demarcus Corley 6 years ago than Shane made to fight Antonio Margarito in 2009.

Floyd made more money fighting Baldomir than Shane made fighting OSCAR DELAHOYA.

This is simple, and I can't believe that we are going through all this.

Floyd doesn't want to fight Shane. Not because he is scared of Shane, but because he doesn't LIKE Shane.

Floyd offered Shane a fight when FMJ was a SFW , and Shane was the scariest LW on the planet.
Floyd offered Shane a fight when Shane was coming off a KO of Vargas.

Floyd was chasing Shane when Floyd was at 140, and Shane was at 154.

Floyd came up to fight Oscar. A big, fast JMW.

It's not about fear. It's about money and power.

The reason PBF isn't fighting Shane is because he doesn't want to let Shane make money off him. When Floyd needed Shane, SM basically blew him off. Now, the shoe is DEFINITELY on the other foot. Shane needs a big money fight, and can't create one on his own.

But Floyd can't say that to the media. Anybody with a brain and who has followed the sport closely knows what is up. Floyd is trying to be media-positive by not slagging Shane too badly. He can't sound like a vindictive person by saying "I'm not paying Shane. He dogged me". He will sound like a hurt schoolgirl. Which Floyd may or may not be.

Anyone who thinks that Floyd needs Shane is either blinded by hate, or extremely unknowledgeable. Mayweather can make big money fights anaywhere. Name the other people who can turn Baldomir and Marquez into 8 figure paydays.

I know the history of the fighters, you don need to go over all that ****.... but it makes you look MORE ridiculous when you say something like "who shane mosley with 5 losses" when you fought Baldomir with 9 losses and you fought a LW with 4 losses. The loss excuse doesn't make any damn sense. The Mosley situation is whatever, if Floyd fights Cotto instead of Mosley then Im fine with it. I just want to see Floyd the welterweight fight the best welterweight. Thats what I want to see.

When things come out like "I aint waiting for the winner of Pac-Cotto" and "I dont need Shane Mosley"... well then what exactly are you doing Floyd? Who are you going to fight?

If he comes out and DOES fight winner of Pac-Cotto, then all this bickering doesn't matter, I am just going off what Floyd is saying day in and day out.
