Do you know who had, may still have, the record for KO's in boxing? Archie Moore. Do you know how he got a majority of those KO's? Through accumulation of shots. One punch KO power is only one way, even a fighter like Foreman, who had that type of power, would often break a man down to get the KO. For every Julian Jackson, there are more fighters like Golovkin and Canelo.

Beterbiev does not have reach, so he has no problem looping his shots, Marciano did a similar thing. His jab is a diversion which he changes into a hard shot at will, anything to not let his opponent set. Looping shots are designed, often, to hit around the guard, that is not rabbit punching.

I like both bivol and beterbiev. But styles make fights and the old school soviet style in n out won't beat beterbiev. You'll need either a prime james toney who's a great slick counter puncher on the inside to beat him or a prime roy jones jr.

Neither guy is a one punch KO guy... Both men punch very well and use a plethora of shots to set up big punches. Compare Deontay Wilder, or Julian jackson, or Zhilei Zhang, to Canelo, or Golovkin... see the difference?

Arthur Beterbiev has hard hands and ****s hard like Manny but he's no Adonis Stevenson, not even close. Beterbiev comes straight in with hard shots but they're not knockout shots. When his opponent opens up Beterbiev will look to counter with a well placed temple shot. The temple is seriously disorienting and it usually spells the end but....right or wrong....Beterbiev always seems to finish behind the head. I'm not sure if it's intentional or if it even makes a difference but I'd like to see it stopped.

He's not an explosive puncher like Stevenson. Some guys have explosive power and some guys have hard thudding power that breaks guys down over the course of a fight. I mean you see some of guys faces after he's fought them it looks like they've been in a car crash it's the pressure and the constant attack that's a problem for his opponents aswell. Most boxers would rather get put out with one shot then get absolutely battered over the course of 8/9 rounds because there the fights that can be hard to come back from

Doesn't matter, it is not their style, how they operate, strategize. If you cannot see the difference, that is unfortunate, but the way a truly big puncher and a boxer puncher operate are different and it does not mean a bxer puncher cannot get someone out of there with one punch. Sugar Ray Robinson could drop a man with one punch either hand, BUT he was NEVER considered a puncher in the same manner that someone like Dempsey was considered.

I wish Headshot would take a look at this post... It makes a distinction that is important that I may not be explaining very well.
