The finishing shot or the KD shot is almost always a back head shot.
Not certain if the rabbit punch is by design but I agree, there sure as hell seems to be a pattern. Attributing Beterbiev's success to some unholy power like Adonis Stevenson is ridiculous. Yes... Beterbiev hits hard with a bruising jab but the real damage comes from a timed shot to the temple that staggers his opponent enough to land a short hook to the back of the head.

If he throws so hard why does he not have 1 punch KO’s?

I've found that when someone dominates 5 rounds, and then wins 2 but doesn't dominate them, the judges will give them to the other fighter as like "well, he did better. Guess he won that one"

Arthur Beterbiev has hard hands and ****s hard like Manny but he's no Adonis Stevenson, not even close. Beterbiev comes straight in with hard shots but they're not knockout shots. When his opponent opens up Beterbiev will look to counter with a well placed temple shot. The temple is seriously disorienting and it usually spells the end but....right or wrong....Beterbiev always seems to finish behind the head. I'm not sure if it's intentional or if it even makes a difference but I'd like to see it stopped.

that's because his opponents go into survival mode and it's harder to ko someone like that. Stevenson has a better one punch ko with the left hand, but beterbiev has koed better opposition than the fighters stevenson had with the exception of dawson. It took stevenson many rounds just to stop bellew.

"He never hurt me once in the whole fight. He hit me with one decent body shot where we broke through at the same time. I landed a head shot, and he landed a body one, and I felt it a little.

"His power wasnt massive. He was a decent puncher. I expected bigger. I probably overestimated his power."

              Calum after the canelo fight

i see a bit of a pattern here maybe

He isn’t. Most people don’t read the articles. And the majority, about 99% of them, can’t deduct that this was an interview where Callum Smith was specifically asked if he felt Beterbiev’s power throughout the night.

But that’s too much thinking involved so most readers just barge straight into the comments section to display their idiocy and ignorance.

It doesn’t help that boxingscene doesn’t show the interviews as a Q&A, and instead make an article about it. Which, to unsuspecting readers, it just looks like Callum Smith is just randomly cutting a promo like a WWE wrestler.

It’s still disingenuous by Smith. He didn’t feel the power until the knockdown yet he let Beterbiev push back onto the ropes and tee off on him within the first 10 seconds of the fight. And he did that because he didn’t feel his power. Lol It’s just disingenuous. That first round Smith was completely rattled. He even forgot to jab. He didn’t even want to engage until Buddy was yelling at him in the corner after the round.

                    lmfao
I saw him get bothered by the first right hand to body from beterbiev 20 secs into round 1 he started unusually fast.

You were the one that claimed he had one punch power
Why moving the goalposts now ?
I guess it’s a tough job to keep all your lies in order
Betebiev is looping in a prayer for you
