It does look dirty but really with this kind of thing you have to go on what his opponents are saying.

Beterbiev is just a pretty ruthless man.

    An 'orrible bastard.

Defensively he was very good yesterday and he's just so solid.

      that’s tricky
Don't turn you back when hurt to escape punches. Period.

I wish AB could have fought Ward.

I've yet to read or hear about McGirt or Smith complaining about rabbit punches... That would have surely be brought up somewhere, right ? I mean, you know, as you do when it happens...

So please link me to the appropriate quote... I'll be waiting in the back store with a beer ...

Why do we require trainers/fighters to bring it up? even if they did you'd only say it was excuses anyway so what is the point?

He does it in literally every fight so lets not act like it doesn't happen or its just one or two guys turning their back.
He sweeps his right hand purposely targeting behind the back of the head, point blank.

Hrgovic is another that does it continually.

Its about time referees clamped down on this **** before someone gets seriously hurt. Its them shots to the back of the head which do serious damage, we've seen it time and time again.

Watch the last knock down again...carefully ... The only shot at the back of the head was when Smith was already folding and Beterbiev was already in motion ... That was a glazing shot and had nothing to do with Smith submitting ... Get your facts straight please ...

90% of the time he does throw to side of the head

but when he’s ready to finish he throws a different punch which loops to the back of the head

both shots that downed smith today were to the back of the head

as was the finishing blow of Yarde, Joe abd Callum smith.

Gvozdyk was also repeatedly clubbed to the back of the head

                    he trains it for sure

I also think his power is overrated. He almost never drops an opponent with a chin or legal head shot.

it’s only accumulative back of the head shots
