If that's what you count behind the head...... Unless it's fully behind it's all fair game. Especially when other cheat tactics are allowed like putting elbow in the face, pushing to create distance, holding your opponent's head down, clinching a lot, and bending below the waist.

None of those compare to punching behind the head lol.

Behind the ear shots are completely legal i dont see the point of people calling it out.
As for the behind the head, its on you if you put your back of the head in the way of punches

I agreed, there's no way you can get hit on the back of the head, if you're in front of your opponent. Now, if you start turning your back on the guy or bending over pass the waist line, where is it going to hit you?

An illegal rabbit punch usually occurs when the boxers are tied up in a clinch and one of them, or both, start hitting each other behind the head, or if one fighter is going down due to a slip or a punch and the other goes after him for the coup de grāce. There's no way you can get hit on the back if you keep your opponent, like they teach you, in front of you.
