Here is the video illegal shot at 11 seconds that one. Where else did he hit smith with illegal punches?

As for the behind the head, its on you if you put your back of the head in the way of punches
No knock to you, but I don't understand how you don't see the blatant back of the head shots Beterbiev lands. Please spend some time, unbiasedly, reviewing Beterbiev's knock downs and tell me they aren't illegal.

In the moment, nothing is illegal if the ref allows it.

First punch that got him in trouble was behind the head or very close to it, immediately followed by 2 more right hands behind the head. Punch that knocked him down for the first time was behind the head. I counted at least 3-4 punches in the flurry that was behind the head.

Last shot that dropped him was a kill shot behind the head

People are going to say it’s all of his opponents faults for dipping, ducking and turning.

So basically if you use evasive techniques, it’s okay to land rabbit punches on you.

He doesn’t do it in the heat of the moment. He particularly aims at the back of opponents head when the opportunity is there. This is the problem that some fans aren’t getting.

Dipping, ducking, and turning happens in literally every boxing fight. But we don’t see rabbit punch KO’s in them.

Beterbiev lands rabbit punches like Judah landed on Mayweather (after low blowing him), and they still say the punch is okay.

No way dude. Just because the opportunity presents itself, doesn’t mean you can hit someone with an illegal punch.

And I would understand if they’re all just in the heat of the moment, but they’re not. Dude is aiming them back there deliberately.

The onus is on the ref.

The opponent turning away from the power also causes shots to land on the side top and rear of the head.

You trippin. The punch that hurt him was a temple shot. There were two punches that landed behind the head, one was when Smith bent over to avoid getting hit and Beterbiev just kept punching and followed the target, the other was after Smith threw a left hook and turned sideways. Beterbiev is not a dirty fighter.

If that's what you count behind the head...... Unless it's fully behind it's all fair game. Especially when other cheat tactics are allowed like putting elbow in the face, pushing to create distance, holding your opponent's head down, clinching a lot, and bending below the waist.

He isn't just going to stop punching. Beterbiev is always throwing when he is going for the kill, not his problem the opponent is in survival mode bending down. It isn't like someone who's intentionally punching behind the head. How many boxers in the clinch just start waling rabbit punches?
