The original contract stated that the rematch had to take place by the end of December 2023, but Bud is too real to deprive Spence the opportunity to avenge his only loss. Spence holding up the division got Bud stripped of the IBF, has Bud missing out on furthering his legacy and huge paydays north of '47, has the rest of the division inactive waiting for the belts to become available again, etc.

It's sad that Spence is still a mess and Bud continues to suffer for it.

If the contract states that the rematch had to take place by December 2023, which as we can see it hasn't. Then the contract is now null and void. Crawford is free to do what he wants. Nothing is stopping him from taking a fight in the meantime. Who knows how long Spence is going to be out for.

Here's a guy who's known for getting spun around 360 degrees by a no look left hook from danny garcia, damn near getting his neck broken by briedis prescott, getting knocked out cold by canelo, quitting from a thigh shot from Bud, and getting beat like A mere child by Kell Brook after running from him for a dozen years. Here's a guy whose wife's box was pounded by AJ until her lips looked like pastrami, and Khan's reply was, "AJ can have my leftovers", then he got back with her after that. Yea I guess he's legendary alright, but for the wrong reasons. Last time I checked, no one ever did Boots like that in a boxing ring.
