Funny how a year ago today, Spence was consider Crawford's Duran/Hearns/Leonard/Hagler....... Y'all hate to congratulate individuals for their accomplishments.

Crawford beat a top 5 p4p fighter and made it look like that opponent was a sparring partner. Teo and Ennis are NOT a step up in competition. Teo got outclassed by Kambosos... How TF is it that Crawford fighting them is going to get him more respect than beating the man that every claim was arguable the top welterweight in the division. Ennis has yet to even face an opponent who will EVER fight for a title, let alone win one at 147lbs.

Fans need to treat Crawford like he's already retired. He will come back in the ring when he feels like it. He can mention Canelo's name all he wants, but that's just to shut people up when they ask him about Ennis. So I don't see the Canelo fight happening for him anytime soon. He's not even doing anything about it. Not hard to send your attorney or rep to negotiate for you, even just to make the initial move. The only fight that can be made for him without much fuss is the Tzsyu fight. But he's not doing anything about it either.

He might as well fight Boots who is now a free agent like himself. I'll watch it if it is made.

Spence said he was ready prior to the fight. He had a bad camp prior to the scheduled fight with Manny and bowed out to get eye surgery. Came back stronger than ever against Ugas. Got schooled badly against Bud and excuses have been trickling out ever since. Anyone who knew boxing knew that Bud was the more skilled and nuanced fighter all along. If they rematch Bud beats him again. Those who are claiming Ennis is now the boogeyman should watch his fight with the Ukrainian last January. It was also Spence who turned down Ennis so he could make the fight with Bud. In 32 fights Ennis' resume is weak. He is unproven against a world class fighter.

Crawford vs Boots might do better than a Spence rematch. Everybody knows what they saw in the first fight. Thinking Spence can turn it around is wishful thinking. If Crawford can't get a Charlo, Canelo. or Tszyu fight, why not Boots? Who else is he going to fight?
