I wouldn't apply the term "edged him" to Fury-W. Klitschko. Instead I would say "Mastered him". Joshua had a more exciting fight with end-of-career Klitschko, but with a knockdown, see-saw battle, it was not a mastery. Unique fighters, unique fights.
Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Klitschko, Ruiz, Zhang, Ortiz, Parker, Joyce are pretty tightly packed from best to worst.
Klitschko did as much in his career as the rest of them combined; but none of the others ever came close to getting beat by a Ross Puritty. Life ain't perfect.

Fast Eddie and A-Side Joshy have no leverage to apply pressure on Fury to do anything.

Fury doesn't need Joshua and couldn't give a toss about him or fans crying for that fight or the public perception either way.

The biggest potential happening is the winner of Fury/Usyk retiring undefeated, undisputed unified champ because of an ' injury'.

AJ without a title is a very rich but insecure irrelevant cherry picking can crushing diva looking to score a trash belt again to claim 3 time world champ and in his own eyes elevate himself into the conversation of best of his era.

That ain't ever gonna happen in the publics eyes after aging out Wilder, quitting against Ruiz in spectacular fashion, beating him in a track meet by running away for 12 rounds then losing his titles to Usyk twice and melting down like a spoilt child afterward.

Parker isnt looking to pressure Joshua into a fight like Joshua is Fury.

Parker is letting his fists do the talking against all comers. Joshua can take a ticket and stand in line. Parker will get to him in time.
