I don't believe it would be wise at this point to do a rematch again. Spence body has been through a whole lot of trauma as it is. The last thing that Boxing needs is another tragedy.

You are absolutely right. In other words, he traded his passion for glory. Once he got fed; He lost his hunger and appetite for the sport: Like commitment and dedication.Originally posted by ELPacman View Post
I believe Spence when he says he's not living a boxer lifestyle. He's more into the partying, hanging out a glamourous lifestyle in Dallas than commit to training 24/7 like his younger days. That's what comes with earning the wealth and trying to stay on top. You can't just go into boxing mode for two months prior to your fight when the other guy is in boxing mode 365 days a year. There will be levels shown.Last edited by champion4ever; 01-09-2024, 06:03 PM.

I don't believe anyone is saying that. All we are saying is that it did play some type of role in his performance that night. I am not saying that he would have won the fight even if he was at full strength. However, due to his lack of hunger and commitment to the sport of boxing; He didn't give himself a half of a chance in order to make the fight even remotely competitive.Originally posted by Smash View Posti suspected bud wouldnt be happy about errol and coming out with excuses now, this might take away from his flowers and he dont want any of that to happen, bud beat the best spence & the rest is just excusesLast edited by champion4ever; 01-09-2024, 05:54 PM.

I don't want the rematch, never wanted it either. Other than the fact that it's mandatory, after their 1st fight we saw everything we needed to see.Originally posted by champion4ever View Post

Ortiz??? Wasn't he WBO mandatory at 147 before he ran away from his shot at Bud? Stop mentioning guys who swirved Crawford.Originally posted by hhh1200 View PostActually he has pretty much given Crawford credit since the end of the fight. It's more Crawford haters with the nonsense.
As far as fights, Crawford should fight Tim. Ortiz is up there now and time for Ennis to move. 154 as usual is where the fights are and the guys are willing to fight unless Ennis isn't willing to fight.

Still no date on the rematch. Crawford is happy, no more pressures finally. He already dismantled the guy fans had put Crawford pressure on for years. Spence is still lucky to have that rematch option open without expiration date. This is boxing. This is the sport fans love to love and hate.

Not sure if Errol ever would have beaten Bud, even without the Henny or the accidemts. But he would have been a tougher opponent for sure. He was more resilient and resistant to punches, he stayed much tighter and he was faster and more explosive. His legs were better and his eyes, timing and reflexes were much better. So it would have looked different. But I still believe Bud would have found a way to overcome that healthier, stronger version of Errol. Bud has educated loops whereas Errol is all straight down the middle.and he put his head forward to get to his opponents body, and u can't give Bud ur head like that, he's too sharp. Errol reaches a lot too, and u can't reach with Bud. Any technical flaws against Bud, he can exploit in a split second. So Errol was likely doomed either way
