Well you have your prime years away drinking, crashing, getting surgeries and all around not having a boxer lifestyle so I’m not sure where your career goes from here

By golly! This kid finally gets it! You can’t live that type of fast life style when you are a professional athlete; Least of all a professional prizefighter and remain successful.

I hope that this loss to Crawford serves as a wake up call. The late night club scenes, hoes, bitches and heavy drinking needs to stop.

He seems to me at least he is start to take steps in the right direction. I couldn’t be more proud of him for taking this stance.

Its nothing but a testament to old boxing wisdom. U can't be a alcoholic and box. If u know boxing history, u know about Young Griffo, Eddie Cool and countless other men who wasted great potential due to drinking alcohol to excess. Spence is just another example of that, and that has a lot to do with why he was handed such a vicuous asswhipping. And he can train all day and night, but he can't get a new liver and new organs. His organs are older than his age because he has beaten them up with drinking, and the car accident, and the Bud beating. So his body can look like its in shape, but once the punches start flying, all his accumulated damage and alcohol over the years will be exposed. His face will puff up, he'll be less resistant to hard shots, his liver won't want to take another pounding from Bud's fists after being pounded by Henny on the rocks with apple juice for years and years . Down goes Errol. They may look evenly matched on paper but Bud never abused himself or had any accidents so there is a huge difference there. Bud lives a fighters life. This is perfect examples for the young generation to study and learn from. U can drink and end up like Young Griffo, Eddie Cool and Errol or stay clean and end up like Bud. Floyd, Bernard, Archie Moore, and other Hall of famers

Indeed, he most definitely should allow his eye to heal completely and then slowly test the waters against some soft opposition, Bud might end up permanently damaging his vision, he’s in a very delicate position and should consider his options very carefully.

Wow Spence has been through a lot. Don't know if he can come back to prime form and beat Crawford--it would be a superhuman feat at this point. But it is possible.

So the as.s whooping in the rematch is going to take even longer to happen now...guess he'll have better eyesight in retirement after Crawf stops him again.
