Francis's main advantage against Fury was the fact that there was no footage/tape of him boxing. No material to study off of, so no one knew what to expect. Now that's gone, so everyone who boxes him next will have enough to go off of and create a game plan
Plus, all that MMA training is in his muscle memory. You can't really duck and dip punches in MMA because of the threat of kicks and takedowns. So I expect Francis to have just as bad head movement as he had when he fought Fury
Overall, AJ makes pretty easy and probably quick work of him

AJ definatley doesn't have a better chin than fury
Fury may fall over easier but he recovers almost instantly.
AJ when he gets hit, he gets dazed for 4,5,6 rounds after that point.
AJ can't get hit by this guy, the shot Ngannou hit fury with was the same type Ruiz hit AJ with and Ngannou hits harder than Ruiz.
AJ to win but he can't get hit by this guy.tokon likes this.

Fury right now is easier to hit and knockdown, but he seems to have really good recovery time. AJ has mental issues when he gets rocked. The question is if Francis will be able to rock him.
IMO, if Francis can beat him or be competitive with him, people better start taking him seriously.tokon likes this.

My heart says Francis and no one should underestimate him now but my head says AJ will box like he did in Ruiz 2 and win an uninspiring yet wide UD which he'll be heavily criticized for. He won't take any chances and give Francis his only chance to win.JuicedJuggernaut likes this.

Ngannou deserves a TON of credit for making Fury work, but I do not think it is crazy to say the only differences in the way Fury approached the Ngannou fight versus how Joshua will is that Fury took it not one bit seriously and Joshua will. I mean does ANYONE truly think if Fury rematched Ngannou immediately and trained for it with focus he wouldn't have schooled him? Does ANYONE truly think Ngannou actually beats any top 10 rated boxer out there who trains for him like a legit threat and not a sideshow? Again this is not an anti-Ngannou thing or even that much of a pro-Joshua thing. It is just a simple common sense observation. Ngannou is a man, a true warrior who I am very interested to see box again. But I have never seen such a rush to celebrate someone for a loss in my life.
Joshua wins this going away. So would Zhang. So would Sanchez. So would Hrgovic. So would Parker. So would_______. Fill in the blank. They are all boxers who have trained for this their whole life. Silly to think Joshua or any other serious boxer wouldn't beat a rookie who just hasn't.landotter likes this.

He will fight him scared like the Ruiz rematch, terrified of the power and on the back foot. The question will be whether Francis will be able to pressure him enough to make him crack. One grazing punch in the right spot and AJ will be hurt. Clowns getting carried away with Aj's last performance against someone who cannot punch. AJ will be back in his timid shell vs Francis.
