Richie Giachetti's picture alone shows that you are a boxing expert.

Each week there's a number of fights - from one to four, in general, depending on the weekend's schedule - of which we're asked to pick the winner, the method (KO, decision, draw) and the exact temporal segment of an eventual KO (early, mid, late rounds).

Loved ol' Richie. I was fortunate enough to meet him twice back in the day through my Uncle who grew up nearish him and remained "friends" throughout his life.

Dude was FUNNY and a master motivator.

It's unfortunate that Tyson went out of his mind against Holyfield, and everything stopped, since I believe the Giachetti + Tyson duo was almost perfect.

What’s the multiplier situation this year gents?

I noticed a lot of players had quite a few left over at the end of last season.

Richie could never erase his prison sentence or his usage of drugs or any other troubles he had, but for a brief moment, he had him near being the old Tyson. He knew how to get into Mike's head the right way. Until the ear biting, at least.

Should be fun to have 3 different seasons and then an overall champion. People who don’t have the time to stay on top of the contest for the full year at least now have the easier option to stick it out for just one season and still win some money.
Why do I need to prove it when I prove you wrong at least 95% of the time ? Lol

Easiest way to explain is to direct you to the first Pick Em thread of the year...

                    https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/b...y-13th-january

More or less we - the PICK EM CREW - select a 1 to 3 of the weeks most intriguing or significant matchups and ask the players to submit their predictions on how the fight wil play out in the format of WINNER / METHOD / DETAIL

For example if you think that Beterbiev is most likely to beat Mundo by TKO somewhere in the middle rounds and Moloney is likely to outpoint Sanchez relatively comfortably you might post picks as follows:

                    Joseph.

                    Beterbiev KO MID
                    Moloney DEC CLEAR
You don't lose points for picking wrong or for not picking but you do get additonal points for picking the correct method (Stoppage or decison) and detail (early / mid / late for KOs, close / clear / wide for decison wins). So you'll se it's always worth picking even if you're not really 100% sure. Nothing to be lost by simply playing regardless.

There's alittle more nuance in the scoring which will be covered in the Masterhtread when I get time to pull it together.. like extra points for picking a heavy underdog who wins and so on, but that's the gist of it and enough to be going on with now.

Just take a look at the thread linked above and if you got any questions just ask someone on the thread - the players are a good bunch.. more or less the most dedicated fans of the sport on the site in my humble opinion, or just PM me or one of the other CREW.

                    Anyways... best of luck.
