Nowadays Jack Reiss seems to be the best ref that we consistently see on these big cards. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a major blunder from him yet.

I referee amateur boxing, so I can attest that people don’t really understand how tough a job it is, but that was a weird stoppage. It was going to be a short night either way but c’mon.

Well one blunder from Jack Reiss was when he let Fury lay on the mat for 13 seconds in Wilder v Fury I haha

Weeks needs to be investigated and have his license pulled. He robber Ortiz of getting a few rounds in, the fight getting warmed up, and Ortiz getting a proper KO, and Lawson at least having some closure to a real ending.

Folks, doesnt the promotion pay Weeks? I think there is a misplacement of blame. I think Ive seen a GBP fight or two that was questionable. But at the same time I wish Weeks had also retired this week. -cause that was weak.

The fight was at 156. Why the hell is that? Why didn`t they fight at 154? Is Ortiz planning to fight on at 160?

Can a ref be "shot"? Weeks hasn't been the same since that fight he let go too long (it escapes me). He needs to retire if he can't move past that.

Horrible stoppage. Ref Tony Weeks should NEVER work another fight again. This is the second time he's done this. Either he just lost it or he's gettibg an extra BONU$ to do this.
