For his big debut in his new division, undefeated, knockout sensation Vergil Ortiz, Jr. (19-0, 19 KOs) of Grand Prairie, Texas, is set to fight after a long layoff.

He will participate in a 12-round super welterweight fight against Accra, Ghana’s Fredrick "General Okunka" Lawson (30-3, 22 KOs) who will also be debuting in the new division.

The B.S stoppage when Barroso fought Rolly.

Barroso got another opportunity against Davies mainly based on his performance against Rolly.

This is a fight Ortiz is suppose to win by a landslide. Vergil has been out of the ring for a while and health and physical issues are the cause of it. They aren't going to throw him in the ring with a guy they feel is a legit test to his physicality after so much time and in a heavier division.

I'm not sure I'll adjust my schedule to watch this fight, but I will be interested in how he looks tonight. If it's anything other than a dominant win, he should never mention having a fight with Crawford again.

Good to see Vergil is back. Not the best opponent, but I’m okay with that considering the journey he’s endured the last 2 years. Intrigued to see how he looks

As said, the absolute BS stoppage after Barroso was whipping Rolly's ass properly.

I'm just hyped to see an old man come through and mess with the competition (and get his respect after that stoppage).
