Why shouldn't Fury of been allowed to fight Ngannou if Ali was allowed to fight Inoki whilst being undisputed.

You could argue Ali had a bigger burden on him as he wasn't just a belt holder but seen as THE guy and had a need to keep proving it at that point...

As for Joshua he claims he's chasing belts but if Fury and Usyk goes ahead it's almost certain the winner gets stripped of the IBF just like Fury did when he fought Wlad, 10 days it took for them to strip him because he arranged a rematch with Wlad.

So why wouldn't he just wait for the Hgrovic fight.

Because a champion is supposed to fight a ranked opponent. Fury v Ngannou was a boxing match. With the WBC's backing.

Then you're asking for Joshua to rely on Fury Usyk going ahead in Feb with no delays, the rematch being activated agreed and signed, for the IBF to strip Usyk, and for the IBF to endorse a Hrgovic v Joshua fight for the vacant title. And for all of that to happen before March.

Some or all of those things might not happen. Joshua wants to stay active and fight in March and has a big money opportunity being offered to him.

And, again, why is Joshua the one who has to follow everyone's rules? He did it for years when he was the champion. He unified and fought mandatories. He never fought a crossover fight. He's not a champion now - he can do what he wants.

I thought I addressed it by saying that Fury fought Ngannou in a licenced boxing match. It's on their records. Outside of that Fury will have defended just once in nearly 2 years... a voluntary against Derek Chisora. I don't know how anyone can defend that. It shouldn't have been allowed.

Ali v Inoki was more akin to Fury playing around in the WWE, or Lennox Lewis appearing in Oceans 11 (or 12, whatever). I'll give you some capitals back... IT WASN'T A BOXING MATCH. And he defended his title either side of the exhibition - actually he did it twice in four months and did the exhibition in the middle. He could do what he wanted in his spare time whether we like it or not.

As I've told you... Joshua doesn't have to wait for all of that to happen. It probably won't happen in that timeframe anyway, if it happens at all. He can just fight 3 months later for the belt if everything eventuates by then. I can't imagine Hrgovic's promoter will be too challenging for Hearn to work with.

I don't get why you think Joshua should pass up this fight. If he does, there's a very good chance he ends up either not fighting or he fights Hrgovic for ranking points. Yes, there's a chance that it's for a title - but if it can still be made in three months then why take that chance?

And then there's the little matter of if who is making the fight. I'm assuming this is the fight that Turkiye (sorry, His Excellency) wants. The fight that is being offered.

Both to be honest Moreso Hearn though but Hearn is a snake oil salesman by trade so it's to be expected but AJ has no real excuse for his BS other than of the Nigerians I know they love money sometimes more than life itself.

I'm still pissed off at Joshua's last so-called fight last week. Joshua himself actually looked good, and I doubt that he had anything to do with the dirty business, but I believe Wallin was paid off to throw the fight, not try, to deliberately lose.

You do that when you're champion. Not when you're ranked 3 or 4... it's odd that anyone thinks he must fight everyone below him, while everyone below him should get to fight up the rankings against him. I'm not sure where Joshua's obligations come from.

In the meantime we've got a guy posting who seems to think it was fine for Fury to defend his title and number 1 ranking against Chisora and Ngannou while remaining otherwise inactive.

It's a very clear double standard.
