i know his resume. prime has 14 dates this year and he only has 10 fights. his team and ronnie do not need to be on twitter all year talking about canelo and benavidez who probably fighting in september. this is a standard pbc recipe for inactivity

Andrade, Plant, Dirrell, if he can get a fight against Munguia or Berlanga. He needs better name wins and name fighters.

If he fights one of those guys and loses the excuse will be that he really didn't face anyone of did not have enough experience.

Seems Canelo is one of the few who can make it on their own without relying on others. What would happen with these people when Alvarez retires?

I'm pretty sure he would fight anyone of them, now, do you think anyone of them would fight Morell jr? By the way, the only one that won't be at a disadvantage physically speaking is plant, the other two are damaged goods and too old. Let's ask plant.

The same thing that happened when floyd, SRL, Duran and countless other cash cow retired, another one will emerge, actually it would be a good thing if ginger's retires, he's holding the SMW division hostage milking his status against the less dangerous opponents. By the way, he ain't fighting the real threats at his weight, charlo is a 154 pounder and yildrim is not a threat, bivol is, but he is at 175lbs, and we all know it was miscalculation.

I don't like it, either. The problem has been finding opponents for this kid, do you think the mbilli, berlangas and other contenders are lining up to fight him? Some people are talking about direll and now andrade, they're damaged goods that's what they have become, and that's what happens when past their prime. Have you heard about any real contender asking to fight Morell jr.? The only one asking to fight him was agbeko, and I think Aidos did too.

Slim pickings in that division. I would watch Morrell against anyone but I have seen guys look spectacular and when they step it up they get exposed a bit or totally exposed.

Boxing history is full of those hyped jobs. I think Morell jr is the real deal, but the division is so thin that's hard to get a decent opponent, you have a couple of prospects like mbilli, shuskin, and pacheco, then you have munguia and berlanga, do you think a manager or a promotor is going to pitch their ***el against the Cuban? I guess he will need to keep knocking guys out until they're no one left.

That is the issue at that weight right now. There is no real names and there is no star coming up from 160 either. Morrell definitely passes the eyeball test and the one thing is when he faces someone that don't go down, has skills and experience to see how he does.

Team Morrell is kind of annoying calling about the biggest fights while fighting guys like Sena & Aidos. They need to fight some ex belt guys, ex belt challengers & ideally other top ten guys. Morrell is def a high level guy but he still needs to up his resume to stand out more for that instead of just passing the eye test.
