But in all seriousness where do you rank Ortiz in this generation of heavyweights.
Considering ortiz was in his 50's during the majority of his career he done considerably well. Had one of the most lethal straight lefts too.

No, Ortiz bounced around from Golden Boy, to Matchroom, to PBC.

Sanchez is doing the same mistake Ortiz did. he is wasting his contender years fighting nobodies. Ajagba was a very solid win, but Sanchez should have stepped up already. I believe he is better than this.

Ortiz was the best heavyweight in the world, in terms of talent when Fury was on his "sabbatical" around 2016

Joshua wanted no part of him..

Wilder wanted no part of him.

Nobody else wanted no part of him until Wilder finally starched him 2x in 2018/2019 once he started to slip.

Left-handed southpaw with Cuban school skills and great power.

A younger Ortiz beats Wilder, Joshua, and possibly Fury.

I dont trust Parker would have won had he faced Ortiz instead of Ruiz for the vacant belt in 2016.

Imagine a scenario where Ortiz becomes champ beats AJ in a unification and loses to Wilder for undisputed.

In an alternate universe that's what happened and what Ayahuasca showed Wilder...

He was doing a better job than Parker was to be far on both occasions but got greedy and was duly knocked out.He was old though so it’s to be expected that his reactions were pedestrian. Having said that Gerald Washington, spilka were all outboxing Wilder. Parker just didn’t get caught by the right hand. He only threw it about 10 times in the fight. David Benividez would have beat Wilder on that showing

                Still pretty highly.

King Kong was a product of La Finca in Cuba, was shamelessly ducked by Dillian Shyte, and fought Wilder before the Tyson Fury beatings ruined him.

                  ...and Wilder didn’t.
Yet Joshua offered to fight him but he declined to fight Wilder a second time for less money. Were you not aware Ortiz trainer made a grovelling apology in regards to not taking the fight. In fact you are probably not aware otherwise you would never have commented. I watched Ortiz fight in England and it was like watching paint dry. The slowest ponderous feet in the game. You had to stand in front of him to see any action because he’s incapable of closing the gap if a fighter decides to stick and move

pbc fighters not fighting fighters signed to other promotions is ducking because 1. thats not a real reason not to fight someone 2. pbc fighters have fought outside pbc if they really wanted a fight ex. jacobs vs ggg. wasnt ruiz with pbc when he beat joshua? why couldnt ortiz do that? he was just happy to fight bums until he was old enough for wilder, thats why he left hearn in the first place. why are you making excuses for him? have to judge him based on what he did. wilder was just an easier fight for him and we saw he didnt really want to fight joshua when offered the fight. andy ruiz is a real fighter. ortiz is not. give credit where its due. ruiz left pbc to fight joshua and got hte glory, ortiz called out everyone then ran and hid behind pbc's skirt.
