Y’all are evil. This man gave his life to the sport. Was definitely NOT one of the worst refs. Y’all are just harsh critics and probably butt hurt about one particular fight that stands out to YOU. Baseless (I mean Bayless) is not getting the hate because of one particular fight or fighter. He gets the hate because he made it about him, he interfered with a lot of bouts, and he was clearly viewed as a corrupt official. He did more to ruin boxing than he helped it.

I'm so glad he didn't referee Gatti VS Ward I. That bout would never have made Fight of the Year.

He is the ref that you were always hoping didn't get the job in any fight that you were excited about. Inserted himself into every fight no matter what. Ruined every fight he worked. Floyd obviously had the guy on his payroll.....and I liked Floyd, but every fight, Bayless was there to keep every opponent from getting a little too close. Blatantly did it too.
