Nonito Donaire vs world titlists (full Ring, WBA, WBO, WBC, or IBF only; no Regular, interim, IBO, etc):
W vs Vic Darchinyan TKO 5
W vs Moruti Mthalane TKO 6
W vs Hernan Marquez TKO 8
W vs Volodymyr Sydorenko KO 4
W vs Fernando Montiel KO 2
W vs Omar Narvaez UD 12
W vs Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. SD 12
W vs Jeffrey Mathebula UD 12
W vs Toshiaki Nishioka TKO 9
W vs Jorge Arce KO 3
L vs Guillermo Rigondeaux UD 12
W vs Vic Darchinyan TKO 9
W vs Simpiwe Vetyeka TD 5
L vs Nicholas Walters TKO 6
L vs Jessie Magdaleno UD 12
L vs Carl Frampton UD 12
W vs Ryan Burnett TKO 6
L vs Naoya Inoue UD 12
W vs Nordine Oubaali KO 4
L vs Naoya Inoue TKO 2
L vs Alexandro Santiago UD 12

    Major world titles:
    112: IBF
118: WBO/WBC; (first reign), WBA (second reign); WBC (third reign)
122: WBO/IBF/Ring/Lineal (first reign), WBO (second reign)
    126: WBA

Fake belts: IBO 112, WBA interim 115

He won a belt by KO before both of the Inoue fights. That's what happened. You can try to rationalize it away if you want but history will remember Donaire as a first ballot Hall of Fame guy. He moved up and down between 5 divisions and fought in world title fights 16 years apart and you, an alleged boxing fan, are in here trashing him. He never ducked anybody, he travelled all around the world, he was the first to volunteer for the 24/7/365 drug testing program, and he gave us all action fights.
Hahaha more paragraphs of damage control and trying to lecture me on respect when this whole forum has been hating on fighters that they don't like for years, calling them all sorts of names and racist comments, yet when I call others bums, it's a problem? Where were you then? Donaire was never a great fighter, and he was a washed up old fart who hurt inoue really badly in the first fight, and then did something very ****** in the 2nd fight (by his own admission), trying to slug it out with inoue and failing. Greats don't do that. Greats know what they should do to win even as they get older. Deal with it.

    • Donaire is a living legend.
At bantamweight, he's a monster in his own right.

Donaire has a far better resume than Spence. Especially when you consider what he did at his own wgt.
Spence never fought above at MW.

He literally won a belt by KO in the division he fought Inoue in before both of their fights. Inoue was the first person to ever beat him at bantamweight.

First person? That's your excuse by trying to split hairs? Hilarious...

Mean machine and gamboa fights weren't even close fights, and crawford was never even hurt badly. You are just reaching for straws, yet you accuse me of just hating on inoue who is undeserving of being a top pound for pound fighter. Inoue hasn't done anything that hasn't been done before, and he failed to look good in his last fight for undisputed against a very low level opponent that he took 10 rounds to finish. Where is that monster? Inoue has never even beaten a top 10 p4p fighter. Weakling...
Lmao like I said before, 3 of Donaire's 4 losses came at the hands of UNDEFEATED fighters (Walters, Magdaleno + Rigondeaux) whereas Frampton only had 1 loss to his name. Also, he only started losing after he turned 30 and started moving up in weight regularly which shows the calibre of fighter he is.

Meanwhile, Crawford faced BUM Mean Machine (ZERO world titles) straight after he drew against fellow BUM Ray Robinson and was dropped during the fight and forced MIDGET Gamboa to climb TWO weight divisions and STILL got wobbled a few times in between doing the stanky leg and c-walk despite his huge height, weight and reach advantage!

Donaire is an old, washed up has-been who looked as bad as any bum can look, and inoue struggled and got broken bones. Bum tapales who got ko'ed before got many punches in on inoue as well. Mean machine and gamboa were far superior opponents at the point in time, and crawford demolished them as well as dominating pound for pound spence. Inoue moved up 3rd grade midget weight classes and gullible sheeps like you get impressed so easily. Your damage control is looking shaky.

"Mean machine and gamboa were far superior opponents at the point in time"

So let me get this straight, Mean Machine (ZERO world titles) and Gamboa (ONE division champ who fought Crawford TWO weight classes higher) were 'FAR SUPERIOR OPPONENTS' to Donaire (FOUR division champ and future HoF) & Tapales (TWO division champ)?!?!?

                Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

PS: At least Inoue didn't get DROPPED by a zero world title bum in Mean Machine and get wobbled whilst doing the stanky leg/c-walk against a MIDGET who was forced to fight TWO weight divisions higher

Donaire is washed up and no longer relevant, so he is a weakling compared to mean machine and gamboa, tapales is a straight up bum who got ko'ed by multiple bums, so....is that understood? Keep typing in paragraphs of tears if it's too hard for you to decipher.

More BS...Donaire was the defending CHAMPION when he faced Inoue (it was a unification bout) so was far from 'irrelevant'. Ditto for Tapales who had only been stopped twice prior to facing Inoue at Super Bantamweight & Flyweight which is no shame considering that he started his career in a much lower division (Light-Flyweight).

Also, it's funny how you dump on Inoue for taking a few blows (it is BOXING after all) whilst conquering his THIRD & FOURTH weight classes yet give Bud a pass for getting wobbled several times whilst imitating Soulja Boy's 'Superman' dance against a MIDGET with a 60% KO ratio who was forced to fight TWO weight divisions higher.

                    Talk about double standards lmao.

Donaire a shot, washed up fighter who was there for the taking. Inoue still got badly injured and went to the hospital, crawford recovered so fast that it was a non-factor in the same round to smother his opponent's work and was still countering. No comparison. Your damage control is hilarious. Splitting hairs for inoue and trying to make him seem more than what he is, is very dumb. Then again, I am not some easily impressed, 1-dimensional nut hugger who simps for bum beaters like inoue.
You are weird and need help, like seriously. You are falling apart trying to defend this overhyped joke of a "pound for pound" guy who never beat any elite to earned his spot.
