Doesn't work that way, maybe if you didn't rather dump one of your belts and actually fought Boots. He wins that he would have been easy Fighter of the year winner.

No, bivol beat nelo that was a better win, Nell was seen as unbeatable nearly, and bivo l underdog.

that's not how it works- other people choose you - unless you are Mohammed Ali, only then can you proclaim yourself as the Greatest.

A true fighter of the year doesn’t need to boast out loud about it, you had the year you had gave it the best you could and the talking has already been done in the ring, let to whom it may concern decide what’s what… self proclaiming anything has always been corny to me, almost in every scenario

I cringe at jarrel miller saying what he was going to do to ddd. Embarassing!

                    So what’s changed?

                    I’ll answer that.

Spence, as good as he is, was NEVER a P4P level and damn sure not Top 5 even if.

Nobody would ever say that Spence beats Usyk, all weights equal. Come on.
I'd like to see the website that listed Horn as no. 5 pound for pound!!
There is no comparison between Jeff Horn and Errol Spence. None

Spence was rated a top pound for pound fighter by The Ring, Boxing scene and TBRB. Now we can argue if he deserved to be that high or not (I'd probably agree with u) but established, respected publications/websites rated him highly before he fought Bud.
And he was definitely a better fighter than anyone Inoue fought this year

That's a fair point. Great win. I still shade it to Bud. He dismantled and battered his nemesis in a career best performance, in his career defining moment, in the biggest fight of the year.
