"The People" love to wait to dole out praise until athletes and entertainers are either too senile to remember their own name or dead.
So I applaud Crawford for opening his mouth before his grandchildren have to speak for him.

Who is he directing these demands at though? Most people don't care about boxing. Those who do recognise him as an obviously great fighter, except for a loud minority who live their lives through internet/social media (like Leicesterage). He'll never convert them so he's wasting his energy.

Who are these "haters" though? As far as I can tell, it's a noisy minority on social media/YouTube, like most things in the internet age. I think Bud is paying it far too much attention. Boxing News, a quality weekly British magazine which has been in print for over 100 years, just did a very favourable feature on Bud in their Christmas special. These are the people he should pay attention to, not desperate grifters like Leicesterage.
