He hits hard, but it's telegraphed and they came in with an atrocious plan to just move around, no jab, no set up, just crap. On top of that, Parker used great footwork, kept his hands up, and dipped whenever he saw Wilder telegraph and movement. It's a great blueprint for future Wilder opponents. If he went for it earlier he could've landed something. His trainer is trash trying to condition some new bull**** in him when he's just a crude slugger and should stick to that. Also they either come in too heavy or too light. He's almost 40 and tall so he needs to be about 220-225lb or so, imo.

All this talk about being able to hit hard is nonsense if you yourself is terrified of getting hit. That's what happened in the Parker fight. Wilder focused on not getting hit himself and looked for that one opportunity to land that one big shot. Problem is, you have to hope you won't get peppered with punches yourself before it happens.

Obviously Wilder power comes from those legs. I tell you they are as thick as sink pipes. That and good match making. I have said before that his manager should have won " manager " of the year " taking a man like that and making millions fleecing the punch drunk and starving USA boxing fans.

His power is there. He wasn't in position to land a big punch because of his bad footwork and timing. He keeps crossing his legs when circling as well. Parker just took advantage of it. Some of you all need to study boxing more. Casual bums.
