  • Time to admit Wilder doesn`t hit that hard

He didn`t land a flush right hand, but he did land right hand and did nothing.

Dropping Fury many times without doing any damage doesn`t mean you have some special power.

His power means he KO`d many bums, but all guys do it, so, nothing special.

He definitely hits hard but hes also vulnerable himself and very one dimensional and predictable so at the higher levels his power gets negated. Parker is not all that great but hes quick and durable. It wasnt a very clever choice of opponent for Wilder at this stage tbh if they wanted to keep that AJ fight intact.

Because he didn't knock out Parker doesn't mean his punch isn't that hard.
      1. Parker has a hard head
      2. Wilder was in his most pathetic shape and was unable to land any clean and good punch

We can only admit that Wilder never improved as a boxer, relying on his power and didn't care to face 2-3 more top fighters. And that is pretty enough.

He hits very hard, absolutely no doubt, especially if he gets leverage behind it. Look at the way he flattened the likes of Breazeale with a single shot. AJ Is a good puncher and couldn't do that when they fought. You can tell by the way they fold that his power is genuine.

He's shot to bits after the Fury beatings and gun shy. He is too tentative to even try to set up a shot anymore.

But it happens when punchers get flattened like he did and haven't got the skills to fall back on. Eventually all punchers lose the ability to pull the trigger like they used to.

it'll happen when you're getting towards 40, fought a 1 round fixed fight in 2 years off the back of 2 brutal beatings. That's boxing.

Doesn't matter if its Wilder, Fury, AJ, Usyk, theyll all become old and shot and unable to pull the trigger at some point. Wilders time has come. Just the harsh realities of being a 38 year old boxer that's taken some beatings.

But let's not rewrite history and say silly things like his power was overrated just because he's now shot. Once Wilder was too old to close distance fast like he used to, and too gun shy to try, then he really always gonna struggle. Doesn't change the fact he was an extremely dangerous fighter before he was damaged goods.

I don't think his power is beyond anything other Heavyweights have. He can use the haymaker better than others, but throwing proper punches I'd say there's a few Heavys out there that hit harder.

He definitely does hit hard, but you still have to set up the shot and against a good boxing opponent it's much harder to do.

Stop being ridiculous, I’m not a Wilder fan but everyone with half a brain knows he hits hard .Parker himself said he hits very hard and if he was caught cleanly it would have been a different story

Wilder is basically the same speed at 220 plus or 210 . The notion he is better at a lower weight is a myth brought on by silly Fury losses where he actually needed to be heavier then usual bc of Furys weight . He didn’t do himself favors coming in below 215 , Parker’s got a solid chin and a decent weight advantage, a heavier Wilder is ways better bc he relies on one shot at a time to hurt guys .

Besides that Joyce is used as reference how bad Parker was going to lose ( because it’s boxing scene ) even though Wilder isn’t 270 or as durable but that’s another topic . If he had hit Wilder with the same shots he hit Joyce with it would have been a knock out win .

Wilder can't be up there with shavers. Wilder can't retire yet. His mission.must be to ko a fighter with a tough chin.
So it's wilder v jarrel Miller next. You heard it here first. Boy did miller take some shots from ddd
