When he knocked out Ortiz twice, beat Stiverne for the title and nearly knocked out Fury twice

Stiverne was awful, did you see how he won the WBC vacant? He was getting soundly outboxed by 40 year old Ray Austin then lands one big shot and ko'd him late.

Yes it does. You can't call Wilder overrated and claim it doesn't affect Fury's resume. That doesn't even make sense. You're trying to praise Fury and trash Wilder without any affect on Fury's resume. You can't have it both ways.

No evidence that Wilder was better 2-3 years ago either. He fights the exact same way. If anybody is extremely overrated it's Fury. Wilder was never in the ATG discussion in the way Fury has been and he clearly doesn't belong in it.

He’s always been trash, they just protected him from anyone who could box well.

My point is that Wilder was a legit top 5 heavyweight for several years.

Wilder was clearly better 3 years ago. Those Fury fights took a lot out of him.

Its a trash division then because he is awful in all regards other than a right hand.

He's like what David Tua was.
