    Wilders ko ratio

Wilders ko ratio now falls to 28.5 percent against guys in the ring top 10. How is this guy the biggest puncher in boxing history again? Fall for thr hype much? It's easy to ko bums. We say this all the time on here.

I wasn't that surprised tonight, Wilder has been outboxed by lesser guys than Parker up until landing the right hand and I figured Parker was sturdy enough to not get 1 hit, I just wasn't sure if Parker had the focus to avoid getting combo'd late in the fight but he did so here we are.

Tank will go the same path. He only wants fighters whom he can actually KO/beat.

That's why doesn't want none of Shakurs, Lomas & Haneys.

        He doesn't even win rounds.

I can't remember the last time he won a single round (without a knockdown). 2017?

I have no idea how people were rating this guy. Just feasted on no hopers... who almost outpointed him anyway.

He was a hype job. The real miracle here was they crafted a hype job with like 10 wbc title defences. That was remarkable.

Yes they are almost the same fighter but in fairness tank is a little more skilled. Tank had even fights with guys like Barrios and Cruz but people ignore that and his lack of resume because he Kos bums and tiny guys

Only Ortiz was in the ring top 10 and he was 40. They knew what they were doing. All those defenses were just to build the hype. Wilder turning down 100 million when his resume was paper thin was a collosual mistake. In reality guys like Parker whyte ruiz were much better fighers but that wilder hype oh boy

I would agree that Wilder has been overrated in an overall sense. But I consider his power legit, stats can be misleading because you have to take into account that other power punchers have at least basic boxing skills. Wilder on the other hand has a 50 inch reach advantage over most of his opponents yet still hasn't developed a jab. He misses almost every right hand he throws. He barely landed on Parker all night.

Foreman was a better puncher than Wilder, maybe a few other HWs were as well. But Shavers is often listed as among the best punchers of all time, and he also has a less than 50% KO ratio vs top 10 guys, the only 2 he stopped were Ellis and Norton who were at the end of their careers. He failed to KO a lot of lesser opponents. But I'd still rate him and Wilder among the top 5 hardest punching HWs ever.

Lots of tomato cans crushed, a few dives, loses badly in his first real test, and now he is older, gun shy against a good opponent so he gets roughed up and outboxed maybe shut out even.
