Arslenbeck way too slow and lumbering. He has no balance and terrible defense. Reminds me of Wach

Good Christ, Agit offered up a tremendous performance against the giant, pulling off an impressive upset. The body shots were soul crushing, and paved the way.Comment

He did beat Chisora in his only other step up fight. Funny how Arum signed him but never got him a fight. He signed as co-promoter to big Mak & he gets beat by the guy Top Rank shelved & wouldn’t push. 2-0 against in his step up fights. He could be a hot commodity moving forward. Eye of The Tiger Management just watched their golden geese HWs get crushed in the last couple of months. Both Kean & now big Mak.Comment

Well just knocked off a guy Fury haters were saying he would duck. A lot of people were talking Mak up. He had problems with ancient Takam & Wach. Sure he stopped Wach but Wach landed big shots on him. The problem with EOTTM in Quebec is they keep matching their top fighters against old past their prime fighters with name recognition. Liahkovich, Peter, Wach, Takam, etc… They did that with both Mak & Kean. I never saw Kabayel winning this fight but I was not convinced either was going far. I expected big Mak to progress further than Kean & wanted them to match the 2. Mak looked to have the goods but I guess he doesn’t. Is Kabayel just that much better than we all thought or is Mak just extremely overrated? I won’t write off Mak yet. Like you said i want to see Kabayal in with more contenders. 2-0 in big fights.Last edited by joe strong; 12-23-2023, 01:55 PM.Comment

No real surprise here. Kabayel has always been solid, albeit against limited competition. Makhmudov had issues with a very shopworn Takam and I never really saw what the buzz was about when he was smashing fighters brought in to lay down.
What I was surprised about were the people who kept telling me that Makhmudov would be taking over the HW division sooner rather than later.Comment

I was thinking of Mak as a huge puncher, but Takam fight gave me some doubts about his endurance. I still expected him to KO Kabayel. Obviously I was underrating Agit.Last edited by JakeTheBoxer; 12-23-2023, 02:09 PM.Comment
