But his team have got him making big money with easy fights, and that's just how it's going to be. PBC made a deal with Amazon, there will be no co-promoting with anyone else, let alone DAZN.

He'll never fight the likes of Haney, Stevenson, Lomachenko etc. Shame for the fans, but it is what it is.
They said the same about Manny Floyd and TC Spence. it's always the same story; fans want it now, and that mentality has been in boxing forever; at the top level, the business always rules.

If the Haneys keeps talking it up big the way he is doing and really pressuring Davis and they both keep performing, then Tanks connections will eventually be in a corner and make the fight, whats going on is the screws are being tightened on the fight its just time and public appeal to where they think its big enough to generate maximum revenue.

Fans are the biggest pessimists you will encounter.

        At what weight?

Haney will be at 147 by the end of 2024 if not his very next fight.

Davis is listed as 5'5 if he's even that. I don't see him moving above 140.

You are right with the idea they can grow apart, although in this day and age nothing really surprises me in boxing concerning weight classes, Manny went to 147 so its possible Tank can also go to 147 we just have to wait and see, as fighters are jumping all over the place with weight because of the massive grey area with weigh-in weight then 30 hrs later fight night weight, today more than ever it is being taken advantage of by modern trainers and scientific conditioning, concerning Tank vs Haney it could easily happen mid 24, if they both fight at 135-140 in their next fights so long as the hype keeps growing if the demand is big enough the show must go on.

This fight is never happening, there’s going to be 3 weight categories between them at this rate.

            Tank ain’t ever fighting Haney.

I prefer Crawford vs Haney. Both would weigh the same on fight night.

I want fair fights, same sized boxers fighting eachother. I would love to see Tank KO Haney, but that’s too much of a weight disparity. I’m okay with watching Crawford KO Haney.

As long as there's no bs stipulations (rehydration clauses, catchweights or spies in camp) will Davis get respect if he wins. If not and all that "A side" do what I tell you bs is thrown out there, Davis can continue to feast and lesser opps, collect big checks and not get respect from the boxing community.

He has the talent to not need that bs but he either doesn't believe in himself or doesn't care.

And if all 4 of the supposed new version of the "4Kings" were to retire right now, Haney and Teo and 1st ballot hall of famers while Davis and Garcia won't even be mentioned

Haney has and is making good money. I doubt he's really worried about the payday and more concerned with Davis actually finding his balls to make the fight happen

The question is. How does Gervonta "Tank" Davis want to be remembered when he chooses to finally hang up the gloves one day?

The guy with no resume, no champions beaten, knocking out every opponent but didn't take chance and risks of greatness by facing better quality oppositions?

If he is in it for the payday and not legacy, then forget the fans, forget the whole boxing community, you will live your life post-boxing with critics in discussions claiming Tank has fought no one. There would be many IFs of this and that.

Where would you establish yourself in the ATG HOF? The fans decide that.

Are the Haney's pressing hard for this fight because they know Devin will only be at 140 for one more fight and once he goes to 147, the Tank fight will likely never happen?
