Haney is no longer the undisputed lightweight champion of the world. Without the 135 crown at stake and also coupled with the high risk of getting his ass whupped for a much lower reward

Makes this fight both meaningless and pointless for Gervonta Davis. It's not like Devin Haney is bringing a lot of money or fans to the bargaining table either. He has no leverage or a fanbase. Besides, he is not this huge mainstream cross over star like Ryan Garcia was.
