Why would he need to? It’s beyond obvious and it’s not relevant to the article to prove Frank Warren is the lead promoter either.

Frank is the only promoter advertising the full event, check any other promoters events schedule, they only list fights their fighters are involved in.
It's only beyond obvious if you can't be bothered to actually think about it.

Matchroom are promoting the event in equal measure. Of course they feature Joshua more because their fighter is one of the headline athletes on the show.

Go and watch Warren's interviews. You couldn't possibly come away from watching them and think Warren is lead promoter. There's clearly no lead promoter from the established promotional outfits.

I think they've just taken all ego out of the equation.

Listening to Eddie and Frank talk... I'd swear blind they have been told what they can and can't say about each other.

I'm sure there will things they've been told not to talk about by the Saudis, but when it comes to talking about each other, they are both smart enough, and they both like money enough, to put their rivalry aside and keep their eyes on the prize. When Hearn was asked what he thought about reports saying Frank Warren was the lead promoter, you could see he was irritated by that, but he laughed it off and just said, "Well, no, he isn't" Then started praising Frank for all the good work he'd done opening the door to Riyadh for everybody.

I wonder how long it will actually last though ,that’s like Hearn putting a few guys on a TNT / Queensbury promotion and acting as the head guy involved in running things .

I guess this is the blue print for now which is just attach yourself to DAZN and put guys on their undercard and pose as the head honcho ? Idk . Lol

Im not complaining it’s good reinforcement to have Warren but he’s clearly not running things if it’s on DAZN .
it reeks of "ok mr sheikh we'll all finally work together amicably for that big truck of money thank you sir"

They’re not. If Matchroom were equally promoting the event why wouldn’t they list the full event on their events schedule?

Frank is clearly the lead promoter, I think it’s hilarious people are so worked up about it.

You’ve been proven to be an idiot multiple times. Not realising boxrec listings were alphabetical is my personal favourite.

Now, where did you get that definition from?

Warren wss working with Turki on this event before Matchroom got involved and part of his job was to advertise and publicise the whole show in the UK
                  It's as simple as that.

Stop saying Wilder and Josh is a big fight, but they got to deliver? If they lose, they still fight each other but it might be not so big. This is what happens when you dont fight when your supposed to. Nobody expected Wilder and Josh to be able to put off a fight and expect to still be unbeaten after 5 years.
