How did u like David Morrell? I think he’s strong, technically well trained, has a powerful punch. I know he has not been tested by the likes of Canelo, Benavidez. But I give him a fair chance even against those two! One of most avoided fighters. Benavidez- Morrel seems like a healthy rivalry in coming years, assuming they don’t go up to light heavyweight.

No idea why fighters like David Morrell have a championship belt but dont fight anyone in the top 10. The guy he fought was barely in the top 50 in the world. What the hell? How can he be a champ and not fight anyone good? This is what makes me not like boxing.

He was put there to get a softy, he was supposed to fight Morrell Jr for the mandatory 2 years ago, he didn't like the match so he went another way, the excuse for not fighting the Cuban "moving up to LHW to fight bivol", yeah, he moved out far away from DMJ. it was favor to canelo so he could face one "mandatory" not named benavidez or Morell jr.

People forgetting again that this is the guy who's been mandatory for almost 3 years, not Benavidez. Benavidez' dad and promoter both said they had a contract signed to fight Morrell and then went radio silent and let David say he hadn't signed and went and fought an even more unproven at 168 Andrade instead, doubtless for more money and less risk.

This is the mandatory that's longest standing by far. WBO and WBC have both been satisfied by Canelo more recently, albeit by questionable opposition. This is the fight that should happen in May if it's not going to be Benavidez. If Canelo fights Munguía, he's ducking both these guys.

You got the same energy for Tank Davis with the same belt? Unlike Morrell, who has been calling everyone out in his division though, Tank's callouts tend to be of much smaller guys like Inoue, and his fights come with catchweights and rehydration clauses. Morrell got his belt to fight for the real championship, but he's been forced to sit and wait for his shot at Canelo for nearly 3 years, and you're blaming him not the guy holding up the division? You better be doing the same for Davis.
