Morrell definitely ready for the top smoke, but I think he should have to go through someone like Plant or Ryder before getting Benavidez.

I'm not calling for canelo because if he is not fighting benavidez, who I think should be fighting next, he will never fight Morrell Jr. At the end of the day benavidez is not afraid nor a pu$$y like canelo. And benavidez holds another secondary belt which like you say means nothing. It's not about the belts, it's about climbing the ladder and benavidez is next up, on the same side of the street. Canelo fans want to use Morrell as a roadblock for a fight with Benavidez. The truth is that it's Canelo that should be fighting either one. But he won't. Canelo would fight Golovkin for a 4th time before he gets in the ring with Benavidez.

Charlo is a much bigger name than Morrell and a WC, its a better fight for Benavidez. Morrell is all risk no reward. If he destroys Morrell is anyone going to give him any credit for beating a 10-0 fighter? I cant even even do that and I'm a big fan..

Benavidez is not gonna get much credit from beating Jermall either. It's not about credit for Benavidez, it's about staying busy with lower-risk opponents so he doesn't lose his Canelo payday. It's pretty much a guarantee he will kick Jermall's ass, but we don't know what the Morrell fight will look like.

But if Canelo beats Benavidez, you will say Benavidez was bum. Right?
