Was actually a fun fight to watch during the times Berto wasn't holding on for dear life. Berto was an explosive fighter in his prime and he showed spurts here and there even at 40 but his biggest asset is extremely diminished and he can't handle the punches anymore he just needs to retire. Guerrero didn't look bad but he needs to stay away from Boots or any top guy at 147.

Two were against other old men (Berto and Ortiz) and the other three were no-hopers, but still. Obviously Boots would wash him but Guerrero doesn't show a ton of wear. He's old and slow but he still seems to be all there cognitively, he can still take a shot, he still has balance.

Berto was the interim champion to Mayweather's WBA belt and was coming off a KO win over Josesito Lopez.

Those guys fought in spurts. Off balance a lot of times, bending the wrong way and holding when they were out of position which happened a lot.
At least they came to fight and this fight only proved who is more shot.
