Why is "undisputed" seen as a conclusion? Making defences is good, and this doesn't just apply to Bud.

He never attempted to fight and unify with Lara, though, who had the WBA belt for 3 years...Last year Charlo vacated his IBF when he was ordered to defend it. So now he's got 2 more belts in his possession. Nobody knows what he will do next. Move up or stay. You're assuming the former.

He may be waiting around for nothing. Is Crawford a money fight? Don't know.
I'd wonder how much TC would want for that fight and who is willing to give what he wants.
I'm not sure which money fight he's going after. There's none available as far as I know. Thurman is called out by everybody, I don't see him taking high risk, low reward fights, except fights he thinks he can win like the Barrios types. Which pretty much everyone's MOs. As for TC, nobody knows.

fulton fought and beat top 10 guys. Boots has been a pro for 8 years and yet to beat a top 10 fighter

          • His last fight was in July last year. Assuming he's able to secure a fight scheduled in May this year, that'll be almost a one-year gap. It's pathetic. Except it's no longer unusual these days. And it's not only him whose next fight is past due. There's Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Adames, Frank Martin, supporting cast, etc.

It's no longer unusual waiting around for only Allah knows. They're investing in time. Time is money in the opposite direction. Waiting is not wasting time in this sport it's investing. It's about taking less risk by going inactive, then grab a money fight when it comes along.

              • Still no fight lined up for Jaron "Boots" Ennis yet?

                • Don't know why he's limiting himself with one or two opponents. He wants Barrios or Crowley and he can't them. but these guys are full-pledged PBC fighters as you can see Sam Watson circling around them when they fight. Why would Haymon let him have his guys?

                  • His teams plan is clearly to have him dominate a bunch of B+ fighters at 147 for the next 2 years collect all the belts once Bud drops them all proclaim him the p4p number 1 and then throw him in the biggest fight they can fight likely at 154 or 160

That's their business model they are being patient and making sure the landscape is clear for Boots to dominate and build the hype

Pretty much but the thing is there are no b level fighters at ww. It's absolutely garbage. Only ones probably B level are stanoinis and santillan
