No announcement yet.
Anyone sick of Jaron "Boots" Ennis not making himself active enough?

He is already undisputed. There is no reason to stay in the past his due date like Josh Taylor. He fought who was there.

He may be waiting around for nothing. Is Crawford a money fight? Don't know.
I'd wonder how much TC would want for that fight and who is willing to give what he wants.

His last fight was in July last year. Assuming he's able to secure a fight scheduled in May this year, that'll be almost a one-year gap. It's pathetic. Except it's no longer unusual these days. And it's not only him whose next fight is past due. There's Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Adames, Frank Martin, supporting cast, etc.

Don't know why he's limiting himself with one or two opponents. He wants Barrios or Crowley and he can't them. but these guys are full-pledged PBC fighters as you can see Sam Watson circling around them when they fight. Why would Haymon let him have his guys?

His teams plan is clearly to have him dominate a bunch of B+ fighters at 147 for the next 2 years collect all the belts once Bud drops them all proclaim him the p4p number 1 and then throw him in the biggest fight they can fight likely at 154 or 160
That's their business model they are being patient and making sure the landscape is clear for Boots to dominate and build the hypeLast edited by davef; 02-05-2024, 03:15 AM.
