  • Five Reasons Parker Gets His Head Caved In.

    1.) Parker is slow footed

2.) Parker carries his lead by his waist

3.) Parker's mid jab is garbage

4.) Parker cross steps in retreat

5.) Parker cross guards because his lead is low

Once Parker settles he's done. Once he relaxes a bit, his hands drift down, he fires jabs at mid range and returns his hand to his favorite position, by his waist, Wilder will return fire with his straight right, Parker cross steps his retreat slowly while blocking the left side of his head with his right hand and gets put down not really because he's hurt but more because he's out of balance. He'll get up and repeat the process, fight's over by the mid point.

If you don't agree it's because you suffer from a bad case of tiny pee-pee.

Id say Parker is better than Ortiz and stiverne, so how wilder copes is a bit up in the air?

If Parker hits that dent in the side of Wilders head left by Fury, he is going down.

Parker losses because he absolutely sucks!

Everytime he steps up he losses. Outside of a very disputed decision vs fat Andy his best wins are all like domestic level and even then he has gone life and death in countless of them.

He reminds me of Zab Judah in the sense that every time he steps up people, fans think he has a really good chance time and time again and its always just disappointing.

Wilder is given the benefit of the doubt way too much himself but really Parker is a very overrated fan favourite. He reeks of mediocrity.

Slab-footed, average defence, gasses after 4-5 rounds and looks a right slob dragging his own feet along.

He looked far worse vs Chisora yet everyone knocks Usyk, why aren't they on Parkers case? Or on his back over struggling big time to a domestic level CW? Or whatever the horrendous performance vs Junior FA was?
All they do is praise him and try make out he is a top HW and a threat when in truth he just losses every time he steps up in a very sorry manner.

If Parker hadn’t start boxing as a kid he definitely wouldn’t be a boxer he’s not naturally a fighter . It’s a classic case of someone’s father pushing boxing early in life ,he lucked out bc he barely fights like a top heavyweight half the time despite an early start in life .

Wilder started late and walked into a boxing gym like someone who has a flat and never changed a tire before on the highway . He also lucked out and was spotted by a goofy gym owner not a clue about boxing and opened up a facility bc he didn’t want to be a lawyer who saw dollar signs when he saw his power and got a career started for him . Wilder wouldn’t be a boxer either had he not been 6”7 .

All of Parker’s faults still make him much better boxer , if you reverse rolls then Wilder definitely becomes more skilled but that’s fantasy land .

This is a step up for Wilder however more then Parker who has faced the big names , Wilder has only faced Fury really for 3 years and has been on the shelf forever but with multiple training camps .

Wilder has the Ortiz win .

Parker has the losses to Joshua , Joyce , Whyte .

Parkers wins . Hughie Fury , Chisora, Junior Fa , Ruiz .

The advantage is clearly Parker’s activity and when you factor in Tyson Fury working with him no matter how many times he cross walks , Wilder simply is not a top level boxer and he brings out the best in guys bc he’s predictable and lets them .

Either guy who wins it’s their best win to date is what happened .

But he will outbox Wilder. Of course he will. Everyone does. But will Wilder find that big right hand?

The same discussion we have for every Wilder fight.

The new element to that discussion is how much either fighter has left. Wilder's inactivity and age has to play a part.

The main reason is that Joseph Parker is freaking terrible.

I watched him fight Junior Fa, Alex Leapai, Joe Joyce, and Derek Chisora twice. Some of the ugliest performances of any "former champion" you could possibly imagine. He went life and death with Fa and Fa got iced in one round by the ghost of Lucas Browne.

How the hell could you compare a bum like Parker who won a single vacant belt in a gift hometown decision to Zab?

Zab is a 3X super lightweight world titlist and former undisputed welterweight champion of the world. Zab beat Micky Ward, Junior Witter, Terron Millet, DeMarcus Corley, Cory Spinks, and Lucas Matthysse. 9 of his 10 losses were in unifications or title challenges.
