This guy is the biggest weight bully in the sport. They call Benavidez a weight bully but I don't see him with a 4 inch reach and height advantage like Haney has had in his biggest 2 fights, plus 10 pounds in weight. Haney is a joke.Comment

We don't know anything about IV drips in this instance or if Devin had clothes on at all and until they change the rules its fine as is if they can physically deal with cutting and packing on a ton of weight in a day after the official weigh in.
IV drips are not a "natural advantage" though.
What is wrong with the notion of just having two evenly sized competitors face off in a fair contest? Surely that should be the goal of separating boxers by weight class, no?
Yes, sportsmen will always look for an edge over the competition, but there are simple measures that could reasonably be taken to mitigate that. A rehydration limit adhered to by a second official weigh-in on the day of the fight would be the simplest solution.Comment

do they have speed classes too?
Its like asking if you're ok with slow plodders fighting lightning fast fighters which we all are. Fighters already do agree to weight stips but for championship fights we have rules an official weigh in and after that they come in at whatever which I'm fine with.Comment

I respect your opinion but don’t agree with it especially after a fighter rehydrates 25 pounds in 24 hours

I believe there is more to it but for many here it don't fit there agenda
Bet you chit would hit the fan if Devin would of killed him

In boxing where winning can change the quality of your & your family's life its very wishful thinking. Boxing is dangerous to ones life & health when everything goes right. People are already taking big risks. People going a few steps further isn't a surprise to me.Comment
