There you go. Just admit it's a business. It's all about money. Your favorite guys do it, so then don't get mad when others do the same.

In the end, he will retire as one of the richest super lightweight boxer in history ever without getting close to sniffing the HoF, but that is the path he wants and will make.
oh they will definitely put him in the hall of fame. they put him on the pound for pound list even though hes never beaten a top 5 fighter in any of his divisions and clearly ducks every single good fighter. hes up to 8th already if he keeps winning against teeny tiny men or drained bums in a couple years he might be #1 when the real fighters above him take a loss/retire etc...

I don't mind him making money. That's the choice he's made and he's allowed to make those choices.

But I could sure stop hearing about how a duck like him is "P4P" or "ATG". He's going to make his money and take very little damage while doing it, but he's barely going to be a footnote historically. Could have been more, but he's not ever going to test himself.

As long as Inoue is still alive and Crawford active, Tank will never sniff #1 P4P

Saying he’s all about money is “defending “.

Idk about this. I mean the biggest money fight he had is obv vs Ryan, but I think he's been doing $5M or more for awhile & $5M or more is top 0.1% type paydays in boxing.

The Cryan fight was basically "legalized bank robbing". So Tank's sitting pretty fat on cash for a while.

But once that dries up, he'll go looking for money again.

Devin also wants money, and he knows what that means. It means he has to make more noise at 140. Which is why a Cryan fight makes sense next because it's free money OR just take Rolly's belt because it's a gimmie unification of two belts.
I think Devin now is a very big payday its a huge fight the split and egos would be hard to reach a deal, so is Shakur and Teo very big paydays, whenever the stars of boxing fight the fights people want to see the payday is always big its been proven in history so many times it should be counted as a Law of Nature.

Tank or his connections would see how hard Haney is to beat, Tank can do it IF he can land that shot, if as much as he has Devin wobbled its probably all over as Davis is a killer, but they are weighing up everything, from the size to can Davis land that shot, its easy for fans to sit back with blah blah, the brains in the back room look very hard at the business and the prospect of winning/losing and the business playout on both deals, to get this fight you need a lot of public pressure on Davis just as Canelo is getting publicly cornered by DB, the same is needed on Tank, its not the fighters its the suits in the backroom that decide.
