Tank is not ranked at 140 in any the organizations bodies. He fought there once and won a belt. He dropped the belt a week later because he wasn't comfortable at that weight. Tank is only 5'3 or 5'4. He shouldn't go to 140 where he'll be facing guys that are a minimum 5'7 with a much longer reach. Tank needs to co tinge to fight guys at 135 before they move up. He missed out on Haney and Teo. Barely got to Ryan. He needs to fight Loma before he retires and Shakur before he moves up.

Its a good fight all around. Gets max eyes on Devin. Gets Ryan another sexy payday & a belt fight. And GBP should be making these types of fights while they can since Ryan could sh^t the bed at any time, in the ring or out of it, & its a solid bet Ryan is gone when his deal is up after all the drama even if he doesn't sh^t the bed.Comment

You can dislike Tank, but he’s highly regarded as a fighter, no matter what NSB thinks of the guy.

Thing is idk that Tank's team wants to put him in a Shakur type fight anytime soon. Tank's team is like Angel & Danny Garcia with their video where it was said they wanted fights with the least risk for the most money. And with Tank's popularity he can make money with virtually any guy with a lil name value so doesn't need a big name B side with too much risk. Or he can fight lesser risk big names like Ryan or this Sean O'Malley fight thats gotten thrown around a lil bit lately.Comment

I don’t. Love him or hate him, Khan was more than willing to fight quality opposition. Take away the Tank fight and Garcia has ran/ducked/avoided every quality opponent presented to him (including Haney).Comment

I know we’re all anonymous online but I’d bet you a mythical $1,000 that Haney gets stopped in 10.
Boots is too talented and too big for Haney.

In a nutshell, Devin is the more scientific and fundamentally sound of the two fighters; With the faster hands and feet. Power is pretty much the only advantage that Ennis has over Devin Haney.
So unless, Devin is willing to turn the fight into a slugfest or a firefight or if Jaron could somehow cut off the ring; Then he doesn't stand much of a chance.
A pure boxer who moves a lot and works behind the jab would always give sluggers like Boots trouble. It's for the simple fact, that they won't stand still long enough in order to land any good shots on them.
Let's just take Ennis' previous fight against Karen Chukhadzhian for example. Jaron couldn't cut off the ring and Haney is at least 10x the fighter that Chukhadzhian was.

Or that "Boots" is going to somehow manage to cut off the ring? You're wrong! Devin is going to keep this fight in the center of the ring while sticking and moving behind his jab.
Ennis needs a dance partner who is going to stand and trade toe to toe with him. However, that is not Haney's style. He's a twelve round pure boxer.
If Jaron had trouble cutting off the ring against Karen Chukhadzhian then what makes you think he would against Devin "The Dream" Haney who is at least ten times better?Comment
