Yeah eye test should be a term used to value upcoming prospects to compare future potentials, but not something a guy about to be 29 should be bragging.

Unfortunately, with the fractured state of the sport of boxing, the eye test is useful in evaluating fighters. You don't get baseball teams 'marinating upcoming games', or football teams not playing each other because they are controlled by different promotions.

There is no unifying body or organization in boxing to ensure consistent and equal levels of competition; so sometimes we need an eye test to tell us who is better.

he barely beat cruz if at all and hes looked mediocre against guys like barrios and fonseca. you would think he would look even better after having fought such weak competition but thats probably the reason they are protecting him so much, i mean this is the same guy that ducked guys like tevin farmer and alberto machado. they know what they have and thats why its full speed ahead with the teeny tiny opponents and drained opponetns

Eye test is for prospects. Not even really for contenders. If you still have to rely on eye test because the guy is dozens of fights into his career and still hasn't tested himself, there's a reason for that. Tank looks like the goods, but there's a reason he's stuck to getting contractual advantages and collecting secondary trinkets with no obligations. He's in it for money, not legacy, and he'll barely be a footnote historically speaking. Certainly not an ATG. By rights, he shouldn't even make it into the HOF unless he actually fights some guys. At this point I'm not sure Loma even does. It's his life and career though, and I'm sure he's plenty happy with his bank account having feasted so long on mediocre opponents.

He is not a atg but he is very good. i never really seen a tiny 5'4 guy have such success against 6 footers. He is extremely rare.

you are talking about tank as if hes some fresh prospect lol. the guy has been doing nothing for 6 years now and you can make a case his career is getting more and more laughable with these rehydration fights and fighting teeny tiny men over and over. instead of fighting legit guys they are simply pretending they are simply passing these fights off as legit to fool people. there is no way they suddenly start taking risks after handling him with kid gloves for so long. this is a scam. a con. a racket. a ruse.
