This is a strange take dude.

Women's MMA is very successful and they follow the same round format as the men. The high level women's fights on UFC cards are similar quality to the men's bouts.

Women's boxing is a joke. 10 two minute rounds = twenty minutes for a championship fight. It doesn't even remotely resemble the same sport.

Serrano's request would help had a tiny bit of credibility to the sham that is women's boxing. What is there to complain about?

      There's more of a precedent for men fighting 15 x 3 than there is women fighting 12 x 3.

There is more of a justification for men not fighting 15 than women not fighting 12.

If it is treated more like a real sport than we could likely get a deeper talent pool rather than the few real athletes like Serrano, Shields, Taylor, Marshall, and Mayer could be in better fights instead of beating up mostly baristas, single moms, and pole dancers.

"Tyson Fury should demand all fights be to the death."

Makes about as much sense as this thread.

They briefly tried a 13th round after a draw in the late 80s

There would be zero controversy if he was down on the cards after 12 and then knocked Benavidez in the 13th. Zero controversy.
The Can-man gasses like a mofo. Would be to his detriment

Or the existing shallow talent pool gets further exposed by fighting to limitations they can't handle.

Yes, I'm glad you agree that an individual boxer demanding the rules be changed to suit their personal preference makes no sense.

Okay, but if it's to an individual boxer's benefit a rule change is good?

Boxing events are already too boring and too long, instead of 7-8 hours, we'll wrap everything in 12-13 no thank you.
