I sometimes wonder if Loma turned pro four years earlier, would he been able to cut down another division and start at superbantam and gone to be the fastest four division champ. Or, if it would've slowed his pace because he may not have gotten a chance to go for the title as fast given the less amateur pedigree.

Loma currently has the record for fastest to three division champ with 12 matches tied with Kosei Tanaka while DLH holds the record for fastest to 4 division champ (24 matches), 5 division champ (36 matches), and 6 division champ (40 matches). Inoue just missed 4 division record by defeating Fulton on 25th match. However if he goes up to feather after a few victory lap defenses he probably can break the 5 division record though. If rumors are true for Tanaka fighting for the 115 belt Nakatani is supposedly vacating next match, if he wins he is going to be a four division champ at his 21st match.

Resume wise that's debatable since he hasn't beaten an ATG at 130 like let's say Pacquiao, Arguello and Mayweather have done. Chico Corrales has an undderated wins over Casamayor, Freitas and Castillo so even he has a better claim at super featherweight.

Nonetheless, during his 12-3 (9 KOs) championship fights, he has knocked out 5 out of 5 at super featherweights (Martinez, Walters, Sosa, Marriage and Rigondeaux). He would had likely made easy work of today's contenders Roach, Garcia, Robson, Cordina, Foster and Navarrete.

Yeah, it's why I put him in the "arguably" category, he's up there with Arguello and Pac.

And not to mention Loma couldn't get any fights at 130 hence the move up to lightweight.

Lomachenko is better than GGG. He just actually decided to challenge himself more and move up multiple weight classes and take on tough fights.

One of the greatest amateurs of all time. A fighter who took on big challenges in just his second pro fight, and continued stepping up to face bigger challenges. Champion in three weight classes in just his first 12 fights. Exciting and fan-friendly, incredible reflexes. I think 135 proved to be a bit too big for him. Fighters like Teo and Haney are large LWs who drained down 20+ pounds to make weight. He was robbed versus Haney. I still think he should have dropped back to 130 and pursue his undisputed titles against fighters closer to his own size.
